A verbal "passed" does not help when a container arrives with damaged cartons or early failures. Ask for checkpoints on the quote so QC is part of the PO, not an afterthought.
Four checks in order
- Incoming — critical parts screened before they enter the line.
- Assembly — fit, wiring, seals, and tolerances watched during build.
- Aging — loaded burn-in to catch early failures.
- Outbound — function, accessories, marks, and export packing before logistics.
What importers usually request
- Electrical safety boundaries for the destination plug and voltage.
- Pressure stability across test cycles for espresso models.
- Thermal recovery under service load, not only first pour.
- Packing list vs carton contents and accessory count.
