When DDP helps
- You want door delivery without managing local customs yourself.
- Trial or restock quantities where admin time costs more than freight.
- New markets where you do not yet have a broker relationship.
When sea freight is better
For full cartons, mixed SKUs, and OEM runs, sea freight usually delivers the lowest cost per unit. Plan 25–35 days and lock packing marks before booking.
What to send with the logistics inquiry
- Destination city and preferred Incoterm.
- Carton count, model mix, and readiness date.
- Urgency — sea, air, express, or DDP.
